Iran ‘Searing Summer’ unravels poster

Official poster for Iran production ‘Searing Summer’ directed by Ebrahim Irajzad has been out.

A recent media report said the film, produced by Javad Norouzbeigi, is scheduled to screen at Iranian cinemas soon.

The movie gained critical as well as public acclaim at Fajr Film Festival held in the Iranian capital city of Tehran.

Ebrahim Irajzad’s ‘Searing Summer’ raced with 13 nominations in various categories of the 35th edition of the Fajr Film Festival.

The film is about Nasrin whose domestic life is suffering miseries. She knows getting custody of her daughter in case of divorce is next to impossible. Therefore, she secretly takes the little girl with her to an unknown location somewhere in Tehran. Her husband finds them, though.

Saber Abar, Ali Mosaffa and Parinaz Izadyar star in the flick, with Mosaffa winning a nom for Best Actor Crystal Simorgh at the 2017 edition of the Fajr Film Festival.
